As the mother of three young children, I see Delaware County through their eyes. Issues of education, healthcare access, job creation, and criminal justice reform all take on a higher and more urgent purpose. We collaborate with community members, non-profits, private and public organizations to build healthy thriving communities for all residents.

MEET MONICA TAYLOR

Dr. Monica Taylor envisions a Delaware County that is vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking. She is dedicated to fostering a community where every resident has the opportunity to thrive. Her approach to governance is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a deep respect for the diverse voices that make up Delaware County.

Dr. Taylor’s transition into public service was driven by her desire to make a broader impact on her community. First elected to the Upper Darby School board then later to the Delaware County Council, Dr. Taylor has been a strong advocate for transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance. Her tenure on the council has been characterized by efforts to improve local infrastructure, enhance public safety, and ensure that all residents have access to quality services.
